AppointMe, the referee appointment solution from Sporty is being extended to meet the needs of a growing number of additional sports.

The online solution was originally developed for the sport of rugby and AppointMe now manages the appointment of referees for most games of community rugby nationally.

AppointMe lets referees or umpires set their own availability on a calendar that becomes visible to the appointments official. The solution is fully integrated with SKED Competition Management System, making it easy to see all game fixtures and then allocate referees and umpires with the relevant qualification or experience to appropriate games.

If a fixture is subsequently changes in the competition management system, AppointMe automatically notifies the ref so they can reconfirm their availability for the new time.

Rugby League became the second sport to adopt AppointMe for referee appointments. Now, NZ Football Federations are also trialling AppointMe, initially for the sport of futsal prior to the main winter competitions kicking off.
